The Principal Scientist will lead the scientific efforts in developing biomarker assay strategies, qualifying new biomarker assays (LBA, flow cytometry), and introducing innovative technological platforms and methods for biomarker quantification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement biomarker assay strategies to support clinical research and development
- Qualify new biomarker assays, including LBA and flow cytometry, to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Introduce innovative technological platforms and methods for biomarker quantification to enhance research capabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research, development, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of biomarker assays into clinical research and development pipelines
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in biomarker assay technologies to ensure Novo Nordisk A/S remains at the forefront of innovation
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in a relevant life science discipline, such as biology, chemistry, or biochemistry
- Minimum 5 years of experience in biomarker assay development and qualification, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry setting
- Strong understanding of biomarker assay technologies, including LBA and flow cytometry
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop innovative solutions
