Sevita, a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver/Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Caregiver/Direct Support Professional, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
  • Support individuals with developmental goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
  • Assist individuals with their personal hygiene and support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, as required

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required
  • No experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow is essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required for day and evening shifts
