About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver / Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Caregiver / Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Assist individuals with developmental goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
- Encourage and support individuals to participate in community activities and enjoy their favorite hobbies.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other support staff.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure high-quality care and support.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- No experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required for day and evening shifts.
