Core Duties:
As a Student Financial Services Coordinator, your main responsibilities will encompass:

  • Overseeing and updating student financial accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Timely and precise posting of payments, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
  • Reconciling student accounts and addressing any discrepancies efficiently.
  • Issuing bills for tuition, fees, housing, and other related charges.
  • Collaborating with various departments to guarantee accurate billing and payment processes.
  • Providing exceptional support to students and parents, addressing inquiries related to financial accounts and payments.
  • Assisting in the creation of financial reports and statements.
  • Ensuring confidentiality of student records in line with regulatory standards.
  • Keeping abreast of industry best practices and regulatory updates.

Qualifications:
To qualify for the Student Financial Services Coordinator position, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within an educational environment.
  • Strong understanding of payment processing, billing, and account reconciliation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
