**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at HR Recruiting Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to residents in our care.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify communication problems and develop personalized therapy plans.
  • Initiate and maintain speech-language therapy programs, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Develop and implement in-service training programs for facility personnel, promoting excellent resident care and safety.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate speech-language treatment programs with overall care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records, including written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

**Requirements:**

  • M.A. or M.S. Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved school required.
  • New York State license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist required.
  • Clinical Competence Certification from the American Speech and Hearing Association preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential for working with residents, staff, and families.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
