Job Overview:

ProActive Physical Therapy Specialists is seeking a dedicated On-Call Care Coordinator Float to support our clinics in Central Oregon, specifically in Redmond and Prineville.

The individual in this role will be tasked with providing coverage for both locations. Mileage reimbursement will be provided for travel between the two offices. This position requires flexibility to receive early morning notifications for same-day work assignments. While we strive to provide advance notice for scheduled coverage, there may be instances where last-minute requests arise. However, we will ensure that advance notice is given for planned absences such as vacations or maternity leave. The float position is crucial to our operations, and we depend heavily on these team members for coverage. The ideal candidate must be available to work between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:30 pm, with hours determined by clinic needs. We are looking for a responsible individual who can promptly inform us of their availability.

  • Managing front desk scheduling
  • Welcoming patients and facilitating check-in and check-out processes
  • Handling phone calls and email inquiries
  • Collecting co-pays and other fees prior to patient visits
  • Obtaining pre-authorizations for patient appointments
  • Conducting insurance re-verifications and authorizations
  • Performing data entry, generating reports, auditing, and filing
  • Maintaining the front desk and reception areas
  • Engaging with patients and physicians both over the phone and in person
  • Managing, updating, and documenting patient records in an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
  • Completing additional duties as assigned
