The City of Philadelphia seeks a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead its Language Access Programs. As the Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure equal access to city services for individuals with limited English proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure language access services are delivered effectively.
  • Collaborate with city departments to integrate language access into their services and programs.
  • Provide training and technical assistance to city staff on language access best practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of language access services and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in contract management, vendor relations, and fiscal management.
  • Experience working with immigrant and refugee communities.
