Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer II to join our team at Applied Materials. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and installations of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment
  • Respond to technical issues and escalate as necessary
  • Assist senior engineers with complex technical issues
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
Functional Knowledge

You will have established skills to perform a range of day-to-day activities, including:

  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs
  • Responding to technical issues
  • Assisting senior engineers
Business Expertise

You will understand how your duties relate to others in the team and how the team integrates with others in the discipline.

Leadership

You will have no supervisory responsibilities and will manage your own workload.

Problem Solving

You will recognize and solve typical problems that can occur in your work area without supervisory approval.

Impact

You will impact your team through the quality of the services or information provided.

Interpersonal Skills

You will use communication skills to exchange information with customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree
  • 4 Years Work Experience
Additional Information

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $41.80. The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors, including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity of our current team members.
