Job Summary

Kairos Power is seeking a highly skilled Systems Integration, Project Engineer to support the integration of equipment skids for our Fluoride Salt-Cooled High Temperature Reactor technology. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively to ensure seamless design, manufacturing, and operations of equipment and systems.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate work with cross-functional teams to develop solutions for complex issues impacting project objectives and milestones.
  • Eliminate roadblocks by increasing transparency of engineering information and making quick, independent decisions to implement practical solutions.
  • Support efforts to close design and operational tradeoffs and coordinate project reviews as needed.
  • Maintain excellent communication with teams and project leads on status and issues.
  • Interact with internal and external parties on equipment designs or fabrication of components.
  • Support the development of systems engineering design best practices, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Nuclear, Chemical, or related engineering discipline.
  • 7+ years of engineering integration experience with a mix of hardware operations, engineering design, engineering testing, systems integration, process design, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply engineering knowledge to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently, resourcefully, and proactively.
  • Desire and ability to function in a small company environment with multiple responsibilities.
  • Experience working with complex and multi-disciplinary system assemblies.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
