We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as an L&D Nurse Specialist in Richmond, VA.
About the JobThis is a rewarding opportunity to work with patients and families during one of life's most precious moments. As an L&D Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to expectant mothers and their babies. You will work collaboratively with our obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Care for patients in labor and delivery
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
- Administer medications and perform procedures as needed
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current RN license in the state of Virginia
- 1-2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery or related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
