Job Description:

The Compliance Quality Assurance Senior Testing Manager is a critical role within the Independent Risk Review and Assessment (IRRA) second line organization. This position is responsible for the management and execution of compliance-related testing activities, ensuring that all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business lines and other Risk, Compliance, and Audit Professionals to create, implement, maintain, review, and oversee an effective risk management framework.
  • Manage a team of Testing Analysts that execute projects and/or activities to confirm compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Identify control and process weaknesses through testing activities and develop solutions to minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems, or human errors.
  • Communicate testing results effectively, including well-written draft reports, and respond to and/or escalate significant risks as appropriate.
  • Manage a team of Testing Analysts, responsible for staffing, performance management, prioritizing testing activities, and providing guidance and training.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically more than 12 years of applicable experience.
  • Considerable understanding of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact the assigned line of business.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with considerable people leader experience.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications.
