Laboratory Sample Technician

Position: Laboratory Technician
We are in search of a qualified individual with a strong foundation in Chemistry and expertise in Chromatography for a role with our client.

Available Shifts:
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday 11:30 PM - 7:30 AM

Compensation:
$19.50 - $20 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
• Adhere to quality standards as outlined in standard operating procedures.
• Engage in chromatography processes.
• Conduct the required number of tests during each eight-hour shift at designated test stations.
• Input test results into the data management system.
• Comply with safety regulations and the Chemical Hygiene Plan.
• Execute entry-level laboratory tasks under supervision, following established protocols.
• Document and organize data effectively.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education is required; coursework in Chemistry is preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience and familiarity with laboratory procedures is preferred.
• Understanding of general laboratory safety practices is advantageous.
• Ability to learn or prior knowledge in specific tests such as Liquid Screen, Karl Fischer, and Power Factor is preferred.

• Capacity to lift materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Availability to work an 8-hour shift, five days a week, with potential mandatory overtime during peak periods.
• Regularly required to communicate effectively and maintain awareness of surroundings.
