The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Assessing damaged or worn metal items to identify necessary repairs.
• Utilizing a range of tools, including shears, press brakes, lathes, and welders, to fabricate replacement parts.
• Applying welding skills to restore items to their original functionality.
• Engaging with clients to discuss repair needs and provide updates.
• Executing precision repairs on agricultural and heavy machinery.
• Safely maneuvering trailers and equipment into the workshop.
• Employing measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for accurate assessments.
• Following safety guidelines and wearing appropriate protective gear.
• Handling materials weighing over 50 pounds as required.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Expertise in various welding techniques.
• Experience in metal fabrication processes.
• Familiarity with operating forklifts and heavy machinery.
• Proficiency in using metalworking tools.
• Ability to accurately fabricate and assemble metal components.
• Understanding of mechanical systems and their functions.
