Job Summary

Piedmont HealthCare is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist Lead to join our team. As a key member of our imaging services department, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, promoting imaging services, and ensuring accreditation standards are maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Lead modality daily operations and provide leadership relative to the assigned area.
  • Promote and advocate imaging services by staying up-to-date with the latest changes in technology and equipment.
  • Ensure accreditation standards are maintained and perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of nuclear medicine equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Must meet requirements of the highest leveled Nuclear Medicine Technologist at the assigned entity.
  • Registered nuclear technologist with either the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (Nuclear) ARRT (N) or the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB-CNMT).
Preferred Qualifications
  • BLS Certified
  • Possesses a thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals as needed to perform and process Nuclear Medicine examinations.
  • Evidence of leadership, critical problem-solving skills, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in leadership of personnel.
