Samaritan Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to take on the role of Clinical Operations Supervisor.
Shift: 7p-7:30a, may include weekends
Compensation: $73.37 (salaried position)
Key Responsibilities:
In the capacity of Clinical Operations Supervisor, you will be tasked with gathering and evaluating data related to patient admissions, transfers, and bed availability across designated clinical departments to enhance patient care and optimize bed usage. You will ensure that patients are assigned to the most suitable level of care and bed assignment based on established admission criteria. Additionally, you will serve as a vital link among Physicians, Nursing Leadership, Nursing Unit staff, Care Management Staff, and other key stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
In the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer, you will assume the role of Administrator on Duty, responsible for making administrative decisions and providing guidance on operational matters across all hospital departments.
As a Clinical Operations Supervisor, your duties will include:
- Addressing staffing challenges and managing complaints
- Overseeing charge nurses on the units
- Facilitating patient transport to morgue or nursing home releases
- Handling direct admissions from clinics
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid Washington RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- 3-5 years of experience in acute care nursing or trauma care
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
