About the Role

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled CRNA Anesthesia Assistant to join our team in Sacramento, California.

Job Summary

In this role, you will work closely with the Chief of Service to supervise a team of certified registered nurse anesthetists. Your responsibilities will include administering anesthetics, monitoring patient reactions, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Augment department leadership with assistance in hiring, training, and supervision of certified registered nurse anesthetists.
  • Develop and implement department standards, policies, and procedures to ensure quality of care and service.
  • Implement and reinforce compliance with The Joint Commission and other local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Assume a proxy role for day-to-day clinical operations and administrative tasks in the absence of the Chief CRNA.
  • Assist in monitoring budgets, resource allocation, and department financial performance.
Requirements
  • Graduated from an accredited school of anesthesia.
  • Registered Nurse License (California) and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (California) required at hire.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support required at hire.
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire.
