Nurse Practitioner PRN Position

This is a PRN (as needed) Nurse Practitioner position for a healthcare organization in the Columbia area. The successful candidate will work in a clinical setting, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide total health assessment and care for patients with acute or chronic conditions or diseases.
- Screen patients and initiate appropriate medical and nursing referrals.
- Interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests and formulate treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Provide patient services in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that considers cultural diversity and age appropriateness.
- Maintain competency by participating in continuing education programs and meets state specific requirements.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and an accredited nurse practitioner program, usually at the master's degree level.
- Current and unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse and required state authority to practice as a nurse practitioner.
- At least one year experience as a nurse practitioner in a clinical setting.
