Post Surgical Unit Registered Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Post Surgical Unit team at Bay Area Hospital in Coos Bay, Oregon. As a Post Surgical Unit RN, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply the nursing process to provide patient care and education
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care
  • Document patient care in the medical record
  • Teach patients and significant others about their care and treatment
Requirements:
  • BSN or ADN/ASN with 3-5 years acute care nursing experience
  • Recent (within past 5 years) acute care hospital experience preferred
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) required at employment
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support card or obtain within 6 months of hire
