Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at Northern Rivers Family of Services. As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide home and community-based clinical services to families and individuals in need of mental health support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of individuals and families to identify mental health needs and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address mental health issues, including substance use disorders and trauma.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including substance use disorder treatment providers, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss case progress and share best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community-based providers to ensure access to mental health services.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
  • Assist in collecting and maintaining data as required by regulatory agencies.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related field.
  • At least one year of post-graduate experience in mental health services.
  • Valid NYS driver's license.
