Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Kokomo, IN.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to laboring women, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, and respond to any changes or concerns
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered, and document patient responses and outcomes
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and postpartum hemorrhage
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal care and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • 1-3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
  • OB nursing certification (RNC-OB) preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care
