Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our electrical engineering team, you'll play a critical role in designing and delivering electrical systems for our clients. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality projects that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate electrical engineering work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and project management
  • Lead electrical design and production meetings to ensure timely and accurate delivery of electrical systems
  • Participate in code compliance reviews and ensure that electrical systems meet regulatory requirements
  • Conduct site visits to oversee electrical design development and contract document work sessions
  • Manage workload and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Track financial aspects of projects and coordinate with the team to ensure projects are completed within budget and schedule
  • Direct the activities of other electrical engineering professionals and provide mentorship and guidance as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems)
  • PE certification
  • Extensive knowledge of building electrical power, lighting, and life safety systems
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with ability to open, print, and edit drawing sets
  • Strong project management and communication skills, with ability to lead a team and work with clients and project managers
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 15 years of experience at an MEP or AE firm
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis
  • Previous experience with federal, healthcare, and data center projects
  • US citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance
