Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Aveanna Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team. As a LPN/LVN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Summary:

The LPN/LVN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and providing education to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes
  • Assess patient needs and develop care plans
  • Implement care plans and provide education to patients and their families
  • Document patient care and progress
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice
  • CPR certification
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting
  • Home health experience
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English
  • Must be able to travel
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be able to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance
