Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee an infant classroom, collaborating with fellow lead educators.
  • Guide and mentor less experienced teachers, demonstrating effective practices and providing constructive feedback.

  • Act as a role model, utilizing a growth mindset to inspire a love of learning in young children.
  • Implement our unique L.E.A.P. Curriculum, tailoring approaches to meet the individual needs of each infant.
  • Establish a secure and supportive environment where children can engage in play and learning.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents, sharing updates on their children's experiences and milestones through various channels.
  • Contribute to the center's success by collaborating with staff and leadership to meet enrollment and engagement objectives.
  • Foster relationships with families and colleagues, creating a vibrant environment where play and learning coexist harmoniously.
Qualifications:
  • Applicants must possess or be pursuing Early Childhood Educator Qualifications as mandated by state regulations.
  • A minimum of one year of professional teaching experience is preferred, with at least six months required.
  • An Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Proven understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid is required.
  • Successful completion of FBI/CBI/Trails background checks is necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
