Job Summary:

As a Mental Health Technician with the Bucks County Intermediate Unit, you will play a vital role in supporting the therapeutic goals of youth in our partial program. This is a collaborative position that requires working closely with mental health therapists to provide individual and group sessions, as well as documentation of all interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct group therapy sessions on various topics, including social skills, anger management, and recreation.

• Provide individual therapy sessions to support the unique needs of each youth.

• Collaborate with families to maintain ongoing communication and provide support as needed.

• Develop and implement treatment plans and discharge plans to ensure a smooth transition for youth.

• Identify community resources and refer youth as appropriate to support their needs.

• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all interactions and progress notes.

Work Environment:

The work environment is moderate, with occasional evening and weekend work required. The Bucks County Intermediate Unit is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that promotes the well-being of our staff and the youth we serve.

Requirements:

This is a full-time, 220-day calendar position.
