Physical Therapist

The Staff Level I Physical Therapist is a key member of the healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of treatment plans. This role requires a strong foundation in physical therapy principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients to identify their physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide physical therapy interventions, including exercises, modalities, and education, to help patients achieve their goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between settings.
- Participate in student education and training programs to promote professional growth and development.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state license in Physical Therapy.
- 0-2 years of clinical practice experience, with a preference for 1 year of experience.
- CPR certification.
As a condition of employment, the selected candidate will be required to undergo a Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, a Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI fingerprint-based federal criminal records check. The candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three checks are completed satisfactorily.
Covid Vaccination RequirementCovid vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson Health for employees working at Jefferson's clinical entities or at the University. If you are not currently vaccinated, you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to your hire date if you are offered employment, unless you request and receive an approved medical or religious exemption from Jefferson.
