Position Overview

The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology at a leading children's hospital is seeking Pediatric Gastroenterologists to expand our dedicated team and fill the vacancy of a retiring physician.

This role offers an exceptional chance to engage in a well-established clinic-based, academic practice, delivering comprehensive Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutritional care services as part of a premier tertiary center.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, there are significant opportunities for teaching, clinical research, and quality enhancement initiatives. The position includes a faculty appointment with a prominent medical school.

The new hires will collaborate with a team of four seasoned Board-Certified Pediatric Gastroenterologists who deliver extensive services to a pediatric population exceeding 300,000, including outpatient care in a state-of-the-art facility, a full range of procedural care at a major hospital, and inpatient consultation services supported by a multidisciplinary team.

On-call responsibilities will be 1:5.
Our comprehensive 92-bed Children's Hospital provides universal and intensive care for neonatal, pediatric, and adolescent patients.

It features the second largest neonatal intensive care unit in the state and the only pediatric intensive care unit in the region.

Facilities include an 8-bed PICU, a 24-bed inpatient unit, and a 60-bed NICU/intermediate nursing unit, integrated within a major teaching and tertiary hospital serving a vast population.

Qualifications
Completion of an ACGME/AOA-accredited Pediatrics Residency and Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship
Board certification or active candidacy for certification by the American Board of Pediatrics
