About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our team at Select Medical. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will play a critical role in promoting workplace health and safety by designing and implementing injury prevention strategies for our industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive injury prevention programs for industrial clients
  • Conduct workplace assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them
  • Design and deliver health and wellness programs for employees, including individual and group conditioning, functional assessments, and behavioral modification
  • Collaborate with account managers and program directors to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Provide first aid services and respond to workplace emergencies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or Exercise Physiology
  • Minimum one year of experience in an industrial setting, preferably in a similar role
  • CPR certification
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift patients using appropriate biomechanical techniques frequently throughout the day
  • Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a workday
  • Visual acuity sufficient to evaluate, diagnose, and monitor patient needs
  • Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions
  • Ability to push wheeled equipment through the facility and in the community
