Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Outagamie County Jail in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will deliver quality care to patients, consistent with the scope of practice as outlined by the local state nurse practice act for Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses. The LPN will be responsible for tasks, activities, and functions as delegated and may make assignments of duties to others as defined in their state of practice act.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide monitoring of patients as directed by the HSA, DON, RN, or Medical Director or other practitioner.
  • Must possess a current and valid LPN license in this state.
  • Works in accordance with local practice acts and regulations, and functions to other competent nursing personnel appropriate to their scope of practice.
  • Experience in Correctional or behavioral desired but not required.
