Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Outagamie County Jail in Appleton, Wisconsin. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will be responsible for providing direct patient care, monitoring patients as directed by the HSA, DON, RN, or Medical Director, and making assignments of duties to others as defined in their state of practice act. The ideal candidate will possess a current and valid LPN license in this state and have experience in Correctional or behavioral settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver quality patient care consistent with the scope of practice as outlined by the local state nurse practice act for Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses.
  • Monitor patients as directed by the HSA, DON, RN, or Medical Director.
  • Make assignments of duties to others as defined in their state of practice act.
  • Work in accordance with local practice acts and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Current and valid LPN license in this state.
  • Experience in Correctional or behavioral settings (desired but not required).
