**Job Title: Marine Equipment Technician**

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Marine Equipment Technician to join our team at Aerotek. As a Marine Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for installing and rebuilding pumps, compressors, clutches, and gear boxes. You will also test marine engines and equipment to determine the need for repairs or adjustments. Additionally, you will repair and maintain hydraulic equipment and valves, operate hand and power tools associated with marine engine and equipment repair, and install and align shafting, pumps, engines, rudders, and steering gears.

**Responsibilities**
- Install and rebuild pumps, compressors, clutches, and gear boxes
- Test marine engines and equipment to determine the need for repairs or adjustments
- Repair and maintain hydraulic equipment and valves
- Operate hand and power tools associated with marine engine and equipment repair
- Install and align shafting, pumps, engines, rudders, and steering gears

**Work Environment**
Candidates will be working in the shipyard, taking engines and other components off of boats, taking them to the shop, repairing and replacing these components. 1st shift: 7a-3:30pm or 7:30a-4pm. Pay: $20-30/hr. Great Lakes Shipyard is a full-service shipyard for new vessel and barge construction, fabrication, maintenance, and repairs in a state-of-the-art facility that includes a 900-ton mobile Travelift.
