Shift/Compensation:
2nd or 3rd shift - $29-$34/hour based on experience
We are in search of a proficient Facilities Maintenance Specialist to execute a range of mechanical and electrical diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance duties on production machinery. The ideal candidate will adhere to all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations while troubleshooting and rectifying mechanical and electronic systems. Responsibilities also include operating workshop equipment, forklifts, and aerial lifts, as well as diagnosing and programming Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). A solid understanding of steam systems, boiler functionality, and the capability to use computer systems for parts research and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) operations are critical.
Essential Skills- Mechanical and electrical diagnostics
- Repairing mechanical and electronic systems
- Operating workshop machinery and hand tools
- Troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Operating forklifts and aerial lifts
