Key Responsibilities:- Lead and Coordinate Construction Crews: Supervise and direct the activities of the pier construction crew, ensuring efficiency and high-quality workmanship.
- Project Planning and Management: Plan, implement, and monitor construction projects from start to finish, including scheduling, budgeting, and compliance with specifications.
- Technical Expertise: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents to accurately execute construction plans.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulations, promoting a safe work environment for all crew members.
- Site Inspections and Assessments: Conduct site inspections and assessments, identifying and resolving issues promptly to avoid delays.
- Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients and company operations manager, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Training and Development: Train and mentor crew members, fostering a culture of learning, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Project Documentation: Manage project documentation, including permits, reports, and construction diaries.
- Construction Experience: Proven experience as a Construction Foreman in pier construction, foundation repair, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles specific to waterproofing and foundation repair.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a construction crew.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
- Communication Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents and blueprints.
- Safety and Quality: Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards in the construction industry.
- Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
