Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain security protocols and procedures based on industry-standard frameworks like CIS Controls.
  • Manage security measures for information systems to prevent breaches, detect vulnerabilities, and manage risk.
  • Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Develop and implement controls such as firewalls, business systems, data leakage protection systems, patching, encryption, vulnerability scanning, and remediation.
  • Evaluate, categorize, and remediate security events and vulnerabilities before they become incidents.
  • Participate in cybersecurity projects to ensure timely delivery and adoption to meet the company's information protection requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security gaps and propose enhancements to security controls.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in IT security, with a focus on vulnerability management and incident response.
  • Experience with security frameworks, such as NIST and CIS, and proficiency in tools like Rapid7, NextGen AV, and EDR solutions.
  • Strong understanding of network security, threat hunting, and SIEM systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
