Laboratory Retention Specialist

Camin Cargo Control Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Retention Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our sample retention process.

• Store and manage samples in a designated retention area, ensuring proper labeling and secure capping.
• Enter sample information and storage location into our database, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
• Dispose of expired samples in accordance with local procedures and regulations, documenting disposal information in our database.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized retention area, adhering to strict guidelines and protocols.
• Collaborate with laboratory and branch managers to ensure seamless sample management and disposal processes.

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve prolonged standing, walking, and lifting up to 45 pounds.

This role may involve working in a fast-paced laboratory environment, with potential exposure to high and low temperatures, and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE). The workday may consist of 8-12 hours, with flexibility to work day or night shifts, and occasional solo work.
