Foreman Electrician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrician Foreman to join our team at Roberts Company. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our electricians, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

• Supervise and coordinate the work of electricians, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine construction requirements and plan procedures.
• Inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and ensure that specifications are met.
• Locate, measure, and mark site locations or placement of structures or equipment, using measuring and marking equipment.
• Coordinate work activities with other construction project activities, ensuring that deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
• Assign work to electricians, based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs.
• Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently.
• Confer with managerial or technical personnel, other departments, or contractors to resolve problems or coordinate activities.
• Order or requisition materials or supplies, ensuring that they are delivered on time and in the correct quantities.
• Analyze worker or production problems and recommend solutions, such as improving production methods or implementing motivational plans.
• Maintain regular attendance and timeliness on a consistent basis, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and effectively.

• High school diploma or equivalent, with a Journeyman's certification or license in electrical work.
• Proven experience in supervising and coordinating construction projects, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of electricians.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and recommend effective solutions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

The Electrician Foreman will work in a construction environment, with exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. The ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and materials is required.
