The Department of Health Care Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Associate Personnel Analyst. This role is responsible for performing complex Performance and Classification Section services for one or more departmental divisions.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize personnel methodologies for managing employees within the three-phased system of discipline.
- Apply classification principles utilizing the state Merit-based hiring process when evaluating positions and organizational proposals.
- Research and provide resolutions/recommendations per State Personnel Board (SPB) and Department of Human Resources (CalHR) laws, rules, and regulations.
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a strong background in Human Resources and experience in providing guidance, consultation, and recommendations. A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required and must be no more than two pages in length, double-spaced and using 12-point font.
