Job Overview
This role involves providing primary care medical services to patients from diverse backgrounds, with a focus on delivering high-quality, culturally sensitive healthcare.
- Main Responsibilities: Participate in direct patient care, including obstetrics, family planning, newborn care, pediatrics, and general adult care.
- Meet productivity requirements set by the health center.
- Provide continuous, comprehensive, and culturally sensitive healthcare of the highest quality.
- Assist in organizing special clinics and provide day-to-day supervision of support staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred; willingness to become sufficiently competent in Spanish to provide medical care.
- Strong commitment to working with patients and staff from diverse backgrounds.
- Completion of a family nurse practitioner or physician assistant training program approved by the State of Oregon.
- Licensure by the State of Oregon Board of Nursing or Board of Medical Examiners and DEA registration.
Working Conditions

- Exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
- Use office equipment, such as computers, telephones, fax machines, and copiers.
