Medical Assistant

At QualDerm Partners, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our providers in delivering high-quality dermatological services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist providers with patient care, including escorting patients to and from exam rooms, preparing patients for exams, and reviewing health histories.
- Ensure a smooth patient flow by prioritizing tasks, such as rooming patients, taking patient histories, and setting up exam rooms.
- Prepare procedure trays, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other staff members to ensure seamless care.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently in our electronic medical record system.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required; Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a medical office, preferably in a dermatology practice.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
