MRI Imaging Specialist

This California hospital is actively seeking a full-time ARRT Certified MRI Technologist for a permanent role. The ideal candidate will work closely with a dedicated team of Inpatient Radiology Specialists in a 100+ bed community hospital.
The hospital offers a wide array of inpatient and outpatient services to the region, including Cardiovascular Services and Neurosciences, Orthopedics and Rehabilitation, Wound Care and Oncology.
Reporting to the Inpatient Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Manager, the MRI Technologist will perform diverse tasks in keeping the busy department running smoothly throughout the day. There are multiple shifts available, offering flexibility, including 8 hour and 12 hour shifts.
The successful candidate will work to improve service standards for both internal and external customers and play a significant role in organizing activities for the Medical Imaging Department.
Responsibilities will include clinical patient care aspects of the Radiology Department, working directly with patients to follow protocols for equipment adjustment and patient adjustment to ensure a comfortable and efficient experience.
Working alongside an experienced team of ARRT Radiology Modality specialists and generalists, this individual will have opportunities to learn new modalities and expand their skillset. They will also support physicians during exams and procedures, gaining valuable experience along the way.

The competitive salary range for this position is estimated at $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, the hospital offers a generous benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
