We are currently recruiting for a skilled Nurse Clinical/UKHC to join our Neuroscience Progressive care unit at the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to provide progressive neurological and neurosurgical care for adult patients aged 15 years and above.

The primary responsibilities for this position include assessing, documenting, planning, implementing, teaching, developing, and evaluating a comprehensive nursing plan of care. You will deliver direct patient care, ensure patient satisfaction, train and delegate duties for Nursing Care Technicians (Nursing Assistant), and adhere to University policies and procedures.

We offer a comprehensive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per annum, based on experience. Our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement opportunities.

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should be knowledgeable about Maslow's eight Basic Human Needs and Gordon's Functional Health Patterns Frame Work, as well as Swanson's Caring model.
