Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to join our team at Moody Rambin. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for leading our engineering staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and porters to ensure the efficient operation of our properties
  • Develop and implement maintenance and repair plans to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with property management and engineering leadership to identify and prioritize projects and initiatives
  • Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and property owners, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders and preventative maintenance schedules
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that engineers and porters have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
  • Monitor and control expenses, ensuring that they are within budget and aligned with company goals
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in building engineering, with a focus on leadership and management
  • Advanced knowledge of building operations, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire and safety, elevators, security, structural and roof systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to properties as needed
