Admissions Director Opportunity

Ciena Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Admissions Director to join our team. This key position will be based out of our corporate central intake team and will cover our Central, Ohio facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the central intake / admissions process and support census growth for facilities in the Columbus area.
  • Collaborate with external marketing and hospital liaisons to achieve admissions goals.
  • Provide facility and program specific information to clients, prospective residents, and referral sources.
  • Evaluate and assess potential patients for clinical appropriateness and placements into skilled nursing facilities.
  • Manage the admissions process at the building level and ensure proper admission documentation.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in an Admissions Director position in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
  • Associates degree or higher is preferred.
  • Prior experience in admissions, marketing, central intake, or as a hospital liaison is required.
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and Point Click Care (PCC).
  • Working knowledge of federal & state regulations and reimbursement (Managed Care, Medicare, and HMOs).
