About the Role

Ciena Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Admissions Director to join our team. As a key member of our corporate central intake team, you will be responsible for driving the central intake and admissions process, supporting census growth for our facilities in the Columbus area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the central intake and admissions process to support census growth for our facilities in the Columbus area.
  • Work closely with our external marketing and hospital liaison teams to ensure seamless referrals and admissions.
  • Provide clients with facility and program-specific information to support informed decision-making.
  • Evaluate and assess potential patients for clinical appropriateness and placement into our skilled nursing facilities.
  • Manage the admissions process at the building level, ensuring proper admission documentation and compliance with regulations.
  • Participate in facility-specific sales and marketing team events and plans as needed.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in an Admissions Director position in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
  • Associates degree or higher is preferred.
  • Prior experience in admissions, marketing, central intake, or as a hospital liaison is required.
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and Point Click Care (PCC).
  • Working knowledge of federal and state regulations and reimbursement (Managed Care, Medicare, and HMOs).
