Wheeled Vehicle Technician

Job Summary: As a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic with the U.S. Army, you will be responsible for supervising and performing maintenance, repair, and recovery operations on wheeled vehicles and select armored vehicles. Your duties will include inspecting, servicing, maintaining, repairing, replacing, adjusting, and testing wheeled vehicles, material handling equipment systems, subsystems, and components, as well as automotive electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and test wheeled vehicles and equipment to identify areas for improvement and ensure they are in good working condition.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Diagnose and repair complex problems with wheeled vehicles and equipment.
- Supervise and train other mechanics to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
Requirements:
- Age: Between 17-35 years old.
- Medical, Moral, Physical: Medically and physically capable, and in good moral standing.
- Citizenship: A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card (I-551).
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent.
