Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Sub-Assembly Specialist to join our team on the 2nd shift. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for completing sub-assembly and packaging processes according to established operating procedures and engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Perform sub-assembly tasks based on drawings and supervisor instructions
- Follow supervisors' instructions for work to be performed
- Inspect, operate, and test completed assemblies and finished product to verify function, quality, and conformance to specifications
- Clean and lubricate parts and assemblies
- Maintain personal tool inventory
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area based on quality goals
- Use a computer to record assembly status
- Follow safety instructions and rules
- Work overtime and assigned shifts as needed
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of machine assembly experience
- Ability to read and understand complex assembly drawings and blueprints
- Basic computer knowledge
- Basic mathematical knowledge, including decimal and fractional equations
- Knowledge of standard and decimal measurements, hand tools, and power tools
- Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques
- Good verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Team orientation
