Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sub-Assembly Specialist to join our team on the 2nd shift. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for completing sub-assembly and packaging processes according to established operating procedures and engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform sub-assembly tasks based on drawings and supervisor instructions
  • Follow supervisors' instructions for work to be performed
  • Inspect, operate, and test completed assemblies and finished product to verify function, quality, and conformance to specifications
  • Clean and lubricate parts and assemblies
  • Maintain personal tool inventory
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area based on quality goals
  • Use a computer to record assembly status
  • Follow safety instructions and rules
  • Work overtime and assigned shifts as needed
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of machine assembly experience
  • Ability to read and understand complex assembly drawings and blueprints
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Basic mathematical knowledge, including decimal and fractional equations
  • Knowledge of standard and decimal measurements, hand tools, and power tools
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Team orientation
