Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sub-Assembly Specialist to join our team on the 2nd shift. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for completing sub-assembly and packaging processes according to established operating procedures and engineering and quality specifications.

Responsibilities

• Sub-Assembly and Packaging: Perform sub-assembly based on drawings and supervisor instructions, following established operating procedures and quality specifications.
• Quality Control: Inspect, operate, and test completed assemblies and finished product to verify function, quality, and conformance to specifications.
• Maintenance and Organization: Clean and lubricate parts and assemblies, maintain personal tool inventory, and maintain a clean and orderly work area based on quality goals.
• Documentation and Communication: Use a computer to record assembly status and follow safety instructions and rules.
• Flexibility and Teamwork: Work overtime and assigned shifts as needed, and be responsible for complying with all requirements of Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred, minimum of 1 year of machine assembly experience.
• Skills and Knowledge: Ability to read and understand complex assembly drawings and blueprints, basic computer knowledge, basic mathematical knowledge, and knowledge of standard and decimal measurements, hand tools, and power tools.
• Personal Qualities: Good verbal communication skills, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and team-oriented.
