Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a psychiatric setting. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff as needed
Requirements
  • Current licensure as an RN, LPN, or LVN
  • At least one year of experience in a psychiatric setting
  • Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Current CPR certification
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to physically perform containment, escort, and restraint procedures as needed. The successful candidate will also be able to visually and audibly assess patients' behavior and needs.
