Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Research Nurse Specialist to join our team at the Emory Winship Cancer Institute. As a key member of our research staff, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing clinical research trials, studies, and projects.

In this role, you will provide direction in the development of research protocols, recruit and screen potential study participants, and develop patient and family education programs accordingly. You will also oversee financial accounts, perform patient evaluations, administer medications and research instruments, and provide nursing support for specialized procedures.

Additionally, you will make referrals to in-house or community professionals, serve as a clinical resource, collect data, and assist in developing data collection systems and compiling reports. This may involve providing infusion duties, assisting in writing research grants, publications, and study materials.

Requirements
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia
  • Three years of related nursing experience
  • Credentialing through Emory Healthcare under the category of RN II
Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Emory University offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
