The Associate Credit Maintenance Analyst is an entry-level role focused on the collection and documentation of data pertaining to credit risk, borrowers, and financial arrangements within pertinent credit systems, in collaboration with the Operations - Services team. The primary aim of this position is to uphold data integrity in credit systems, oversee credit risk, and comply with established credit regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Assist Commercial Banking Sales in the initiation and oversight of client credit arrangements.
+ Provide support for credit evaluation by offering product solutions, structuring credit, and analyzing creditworthiness across sectors such as Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, Healthcare, and Agriculture.
+ Contribute insights on credit arrangements by advising on compliance with credit policies, operational limitations, and service performance risks.
+ Manage credit quality documentation to ensure timely credit reporting and the accuracy of credit data.
+ Evaluate credit deliverables related to assigned credit relationships, prioritizing tasks to guarantee prompt client support and fulfillment of portfolio monitoring obligations.
+ Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards in credit origination and portfolio advisory for a diverse clientele.
+ Offer consultative support regarding product terms and conditions, along with external enhancements.
+ Monitor and escalate identified risks and compliance issues beyond the credit origination team, while maintaining expertise to ensure adherence to complex global credit policies and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
+ Appropriately assess risks in business decisions, demonstrating a strong focus on the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policies, exercising sound ethical judgment regarding personal conduct and business practices, and transparently managing and reporting control issues.
Qualifications:
+ 2-5 years of relevant experience.
+ Familiarity with industry standards and practices.
+ Consistently demonstrates clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
