About the Role:

The Onyx Server will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. This includes greeting guests, delivering food and beverages, anticipating their needs, and providing expert knowledge of our menu and beverage options.

Key Responsibilities:

• Describe menu items to guests, highlighting their origin, taste, and preparation methods.
• Communicate guest orders to the kitchen, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions.
• Process cash and credit card payments, and settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
• Break down, clean, and set up tables, buffets, and food stations.

Requirements:

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of prior serving experience in an upscale restaurant.
• Ability to carry and balance a tray.
• Strong communication skills and reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.

Schedule & Hours:

• This is a part-time position.
• Thursday - Sunday PM availability is required.
